We invite you to see some of the horses that we have sold.

Rowan

Rowan’s New Owner Writes:
“Mary was an absolute pleasure to work with in my search for a new horse. She was very honest and upfront with any question I had. This honesty meant not only a pleasant sales experience, but also an easy transition into working together and figuring each other out at home. I truly believe that Mary cares deeply about finding the right horse for the right person. This quality along with her honesty could not have made for a better experience and I could not be happier. We are entered in our first show this July and I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for us. I could not love Rowan more and could never have found him without Mary’s guidance. I would highly recommend five stars farm and Mary Howard to anyone looking to buy a quality dressage horse.”-Cora Lehet

Rowan’s Former Owner Writes:
“We are very pleased with this sale. It has become evident in our dealings with you that your primary concern is for the horse and his wellbeing. We are very happy with that approach. We are pretty certain that it makes for a better life for both horse and owner. We appreciate your experience.”

Big Skye

Skye’s Former Owner Writes:
“Thank you so much for all you have done for Skye. I knew when I brought him to you, and it was confirmed at each visit, that you were absolutely the right person to help him make the transition to a new owner. Your training and care for him have been extraordinary, tailored to his personality and with terrific results. I would not hesitate to highly recommend you and your farm to anyone – selling or buying. I just wish I lived closer so that I could train with you myself! Thank you again for everything you have done for Skye and for me.
Warm regards, Lisa”

2002 17.1 hand dark bay/black Dutch Warmblood gelding. Skye is doing all Third Level movements in his current dressage barn, he has also been shown at Preliminary Level eventing in the past. More recently he did well in jumper classes at A and AA jumper shows in Massachusetts with his owner. He is well behaved in and out of the show ring, and enjoys his hacks out with the grooms while eventing and with his current owner. He really is a sweet boy who loves people, needs, and loves to work. He has a nice soft mouth, is comfortable to sit, and has a sensitive side so he does best with a soft and tactful rider. Although he is tall, the rider in the video and his owner are only 5’5” and do not look small on him – he can accommodate many different sizes. This horse does it all, he even clips perfectly, ships like a pro, and has impeccable stable manners.

Tootsie

Tootsie’s Former Owner Writes:
“As I have been saying for months, I could not have been happier with your help and professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend you and your farm to anyone looking to sell a dressage horse!” -Karen Lorenzo

Tootsie’s new owner writes:
“I recently purchased my Irish Sport Horse mare through Mary Howard, and I just love her! The relaxed and friendly manner of Mary and her staff made me feel very comfortable at her farm. She had a thorough understanding of the horse and her history. Mary’s guidance during my first rides helped me connect with the mare, and get a good feeling for her potential. I found working with Mary as the sales agent was very helpful as I felt free to ask very direct questions, and Mary gave honest. objective answers. I also felt that she carefully tried to match the temperament and training of the horse to the skills and objectives of the rider. I highly recommend Mary Howard as a sales agent, whether you are looking to buy or sell a horse.” -Robin Zielgler

2001 Registered Irish Sporthorse mare standing 16.1 hands. She has been shown successfully at Third Level, earning her lifetime owner a Bronze Medal. Tootsie is very intelligent, with a great work ethic. She always wants to please, and is a joy to ride. She has no vices whatsoever, is not at all mareish, and enjoys trail rides. She would be best suited to an intermediate rider, who with someone who would keep her in training. She is a very safe horse, but would be happiest with someone who has tactful hands. Tootsie is a very kind horse with no rear, buck, or bolt of any kind.

Denzel GGH

Denzel’s new owner writes:
“Hi Mary, first off, we absolutely adore him! He is a barn favorite and is still an in-your-pocket kind of guy. He is probably the most balanced horse we have ever had, and has the most natural beautiful lead change. He still jumps great and he can’t go to any horse show without being stopped and asking where he came from! He jumps around the 3 foot divisions like a total professional, getting great ribbons in very competitive company, including winning the hack out of 20+ in Vermont last week! We can’t say enough good things about this little guy, and we think he is going to make a top of the line 3’6 hunter and double in the derbies as well. Hope all is well and if another like Denzel comes along please let us know!
Best Regards,

Victoria”

Denzel GGH is a gorgeous black 2007 Hanoverian gelding, 15.3 hands. Denzel has Donnerhall on both sides of his pedigree, and has his temperament. He has been under saddle since the month of May, and is learning very quickly. He is extremely smart and brave, and not bothered by much of anything. He has a beautiful head and neck, and is still growing in his shape and size. He is light in the mouth, and easy to sit on. He has a huge personality, loves life like an oyster! He is so versatile he could do dressage, eventing or hunters. He has a good health record and good ground manners. He is by De Laurentis who is by De Niro, and out of the mare Donerella by Donnerhall. He is lifetime USDF, USEF, and American Hanoverian Society registered.

Rohmeo

Rohmeo’s new owner writes:
“I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how pleased we are with Rohmeo. He’s come so far in just the short time that I’ve owned him, we couldn’t be more thrilled! With my trainer, Lainey Johnson, they were first or second in almost every class they were in. They were East Coast Rider’s Cup Champions this summer, and were also NEDA Year End Champions, First Level Open (73+ median score)! Now he’s enjoying schooling Second and Third Level work. I’m learning so much from my rides on him, and he’s such a joy to be around in the barn. I’m so proud of him and so glad that he’s mine! – Heather”
